Why is Delhi’s street food so famous? A walk through the lanes of old delhi tasting street delicacies you will know what I am saying. Not only old Delhi is rich in its culture but also in food and offers lot of options in chaat, kulfis, sweets etc . It’s a quintessential hub for authentic Delhi street food. Now you don’t have to go anywhere else, the flavors of Delhi Zaika has opened its new outlet at Bandra, Mumbai
The décor is stylish with Delhi’s street food pictures in the background walls. The seating is comfortable.
We started off with Paneer Malai Tikka – It was cooked to perfection with fresh paneer and the taste was unique due to its zaika’s special spices. The spices blended well with paneer and cream (malai ) and gave a distinct flavor. I never tasted such soft and delicious Paneer Malai Tikka in a recent time.
In the Main course- We tasted Paneer Changezi. The name itself intrigued me to indulge in it. The taste is heavenly Thanks to the thick gravy that mixed well with veggies and Paneer. It was a bit sour taste but overall good option to try out. If you see Paneer is always main ingrediants in Veg dish. But trust me if you are a non veg person ,I bet you will still love this one.
The meal is incomplete without the desserts – Why not sweeten it with Caramel Custard. It was delicious dessert with creamy caramel over silky custard. I tried this last week but this one is tastes great.
Matka rabdi – You will crave for more after this creamy Rabdi. The goodness of whole creamy milk boiled down to thick consistency with almonds and saffron over the top. It tastes amazing and serve it chilled.
Overall Delhi Zaika is a place where you will get pure taste of Delhi Food , though Veggies have dearth of varieties but you will love the place for its delicious food and do share your Delhi experiences here
